Quantum computing reading group

The "quantum computing reading group" will continue this semester, meeting on Wednesdays
from 15:00 to 17:00. The first meeting will be coming Wednesday, March 4.

After a recap of the last semester the reading group will focus on

(1) finishing some of the remaining lectures in Peter Shor's MIT lecture notes,
(2) selected topics from Quantum Computation and Quantum Information by Nielsen and
    Chang,
(3) polynomial and adversary methods to establish lower bounds (impossibility results),
(4) quantum and post-quantum cryptography.

As before, the meetings allow both in person and online participation. The former in
the SMRI Seminar Room (A12 Macleay Room 301) and the latter via Zoom.

If you are interested in taking part in this, please use a Google account to join the
Google group at

if you are not a member already.

All are welcome!
