PDE Seminar: Herbert E. Huppert -- Some fluid flows in porous media: theories, experiments and applications

Dear friends and colleagues, 

on Monday, 24 October 2016, Professor Herbert E.  Huppert (Univeristy of
Cambridge and University of New South Wales in Sydney) is giving a talk in the University
of Sydney PDE-Seminar on 

"SOME FLUID FLOWS IN POROUS MEDIA: THEORIES, EXPERIMENTS AND APPLICATIONS".  

In this talk, Professor Huppert will deliver a rather "Applied Maths talk" combined with
some physical background.  Thus it will be accessible for a rather broader audience.  An

This talk, will be held in Carslaw building, room 275 at 2pm, Camperdown campus of the
University of Sydney.  



Everybody is invite to join us for lunch on Monday at 12:30pm in front of the elevator
on level 7 in Carslaw building.
